The hardest thing about exercise it to start doing it. Once you’re exercising regularly, the hardest thing is to stop.

INSPIRE A FIT GENERATION

The link between exercise and better physical and emotional health is well known and well researched. Even though we know physical activity is good for us and our kids, modern life has made it harder for families to get moving. To motivate you and the kiddos to get active, we are launching our first Family Fitness Challenge. The Challenge offers a calendar of cool, family friendly activities and weekly fitness challenges that teach fundamental movement skills and develop healthy, habit-forming behaviors. We've even partnered up with Fresh Communications to bring you Healthy Eating Guide filled with practical, family-friendly tips and recipes that even the most picky eaters will enjoy. Top participants will be able to earn rewards and share their fitness inspiration with other families.

Join the challenge and show us how us how you play and fuel up. Tag your photos and we’ll feature them at #famfitchallenge on our @reimagineplay Instagram.

Check out the calendar below which is updated weekly.

WHAT'S YOUR PLAY PERSONALITY?

Knowing what motivates you to play can help you choose activities you enjoy and can do for hours. Inspired by Dr. Stuart Brown's book Play – How It Shapes the Brain, Opens the Imagination, and Invigorates the Soul, we developed this quiz to see which of Dr. Brown's eight play personality types fits you, and what can motivate you to play more.

HOW FIT ARE YOU?

There are many ways to measure your fitness level. Your fitness levels can be measured by your strength – your ability to do a greater consecutive number of an exercise, your speed – how quickly you can do this number and your recovery time, and the time it takes you to recover before you can repeat it again. See how fit you are with our quiz designed to assess your upper body strength, core strength, and physical endurance.
