Fit for Kids. Parent Approved.

Reimagine Play is a Boston-based start-up that provides fun, play-inspired fitness programs to school-age kids and teens. We offer pop-up fitness classes and sports conditioning training that incorporates obstacle-based activities. We also partner with schools, camps, and youth organizations to create custom fitness programming for youth and families. Our programs teach both fun-fitness and character building  skills such as perseverance, resiliency and teamwork. Our certified fitness trainers are passionate about training and mentoring kids to live a healthy lifestyle.

Our Mission

Our mission is to inspire the next fit generation of children. We do this through positive, active play experiences that teach physical literacy and social emotional skills using obstacles and games. We view ourselves, our coaches and our families as partners who help children become problem solvers and curious learners.

Inspiring a Fit Generation

In the U.S., only 3 in 10 kids play regularly and 1 in 3 are overweight or obese. Today, children prefer video games and screen time, spending less time playing outdoors or with children of other ages. Active play has a critical role in children’s social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development.  Yet many children do not have access to high quality active play experiences that help develop physical literacy and the social emotional competencies needed for success in school, work and life. Many youth programs solely focus on competitive sports and many children drop out by middle school. We engage children in physical activity at an early age through fun, non-competitive, fitness experiences.  Our activities teach physical literacy and functional movement skills like running, jumping, throwing, balance, flexibility and coordination.

Our Team

Founded by a group of fitness enthusiasts and professionals, Reimagine Play aims to change how we approach youth fitness so we can eradicate childhood obesity for good.
